Advanced Digital X-Ray

We use only the most advanced imaging equipment, including digital x-ray.

At TruVet Pet Hospital, remaining on the cutting edge of veterinary technology is one of our primary goals.

To do this, we use only the most advanced imaging equipment, including digital x-ray. Unlike traditional x-rays, digital systems provide nearly instantaneous results, and vets can easily manipulate the images to get a better view. It is completely pain-free and non-invasive, and we are proud to offer advanced digital x-ray in Frisco.

What Is Digital X-Ray?

Digital x-ray, also known as digital radiology, captures images of a patient’s internal structures using radiation. However, compared to traditional x-ray, it exposes pets to far less radiation. Treatment is completely safe and poses no risk to pregnant females, very young pets, and seniors.

We rely on our advanced digital x-ray technology to peer deep inside pets’ bodies to diagnose injuries and certain illnesses. X-rays allow us to examine the bones and ligaments and assess the size, position, and shape of certain organs, including the heart, lungs, and abdominal muscles. We also use this technology to monitor pregnancies and diagnose bladder stones, osteoarthritis, and many other illnesses.
